Module Description:

This is a one-hour, self-paced learning module designed to help you become familiar with the legal frameworks that ensure accessible participation opportunities in postsecondary education and training programs for deaf people. This module will help participants expand their knowledge of institutional responsibilities and provide them with resources to learn more.

Learning Objectives – Participants will identify:

  • Accessibility laws and other legal frameworks that offer responsibilities and requirements for postsecondary education and training programs
  • Considerations for ensuring effective communication for deaf people across postsecondary settings
