As a Deaf person, contributing to research and dissemination that addresses inequities within the deaf community using a data-driven approach is professionally and personally important.

Jonah Winninghoff is employed as a data scientist at the National Deaf Center, having previously served as a statistician at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is currently serving as an associate data analyst at Gallaudet University. He holds an M.S. degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and dual B.A. degrees in International Studies and Government from Gallaudet University. His expertise is causal inference, statistics, AI/ML, and software development.

He developed a dashboard handling 15,000+ queries, generated reports covering all 50 states, coauthored special reports, and contributed to several academic papers.
