The National Deaf Center will be attending this year’s NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico from September 21st to the 23rd!

This conference provides workshops, training and interactions designed to promote leadership skills for a variety of purposes, including: employment advancement; organizational operation; and interpersonal development. We look forward to connect with the community, learning more about how NDC can provide support, and sharing the growing list of resources that NDC has available.

During the conference, Dr. Carrie Lou Bloom will be presenting a workshop titled “Using Data for Advocacy” on Friday, September 22nd from 8:30-9:445am. During this workshop, participants will learn how to strengthen data-driven decision making by using resources offered by the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes. This workshop will equip participants with tools and knowledge to use data to improve organizational efficiency, address disparities, promote equity, enhance outcomes for marginalized populations, and advocate for increased services. Join this session to discover how to make better informed decisions through utilizing an interactive data dashboard, self-assessment tools, and online training modules.

We look forward to attending and hope to see you there!
