Exploring Interpreter Shortages in Postsecondary Settings Listening Session

Event Date: March 30, 2023

In response to the effects of the interpreter shortage, NDC is focused on creating more opportunities for disability services professionals to connect with us and one another. Whether you were part of the previous session, were unable to join the previous session, or are seeing this for the first time—we invite you to register now and join us! We look forward to bringing people together to address the barriers that institutions are currently navigating in service to deaf students.

Join us on March 30th, 2023 from 1pm-2:30pm CT for our second Exploring Interpreter Shortages in Postsecondary Settings session. We at NDC want to know more. This work cannot be done without full institutional support, and we encourage college and university administration to participate in these sessions. To learn more about the interpreter shortage, read our recent article: The ASL Interpreter Shortage and Its Impact on Accessibility in College Settings. Additionally, you can learn more about our first session from February 16th in our recent news article: Interpreting Services Shortage Listening Session Summary.
