Jay is passionate about connecting individuals through digital technology and communication strategies that align with accessibility and equitable values. They found ASL and the Deaf Community later in life, forming bonds and connections through the relationships and experiences gained during their time at Gallaudet University where they earned a Bachelor’s in Deaf Studies and a Master’s in International Development. Jay’s passion for inclusive education, bilingual and signed language development, communication technology, and community involvement has only grown stronger through their work with a variety of organizations and teams, including the Motion Light Lab, Humanity & Inclusion, and Save the Children. They are an avid reader, aspiring author, and cold brew connoisseur who always appreciates a new coffee shop recommendation.
