Sara’s journey started at RIT/NTID, where she earned a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, but her heart quickly found its true calling in the world of social media. After diving into the communications world, she worked with several deaf organizations, specializing in social media and content creation—because why not make the digital world more accessible and fun for everyone?

During her time with the National Association for the Deaf, especially through the challenges of the COVID pandemic, Sara discovered a true passion for advocacy. She loves using her skills to ensure that deaf individuals have the resources and support they need, whenever they need them.
As the Communication Director at NDC Sara continues to focus on creating inclusive communication strategies and helping amplify voices that matter.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband, two kids, and two black cats. She’s a fan of curling up with a good book (as long as she can sneak in a few pages when the kids are asleep) and soaking up the breathtaking mountain views that surround her.
