Facilitated courses will require a 15-hour commitment over 4 weeks. Engagement will be primarily asynchronous, with two zoom meetings at two hours each. Activities include reviewing resources, contributing to the online dialogue, assessing your own campus and practices, and creating an artifact to implement changes immediately in your practice. The goal of NDC Facilitated Courses is to walk away with the capacity to evaluate practices on your campus and improve experiences for current or future deaf students. 

The first three weeks require active engagement in the scheduled activities. The final week is reserved for you to work on your artifact at your own pace, review with NDC staff in an individual consultation, and submit by the designated due date. This course will be facilitated by NDC staff and/or in partnership with seasoned professionals in the field. Participants who successfully complete the course requirements will earn a digital credential and professional clock hours. 

We are asking participants to commit to the entire duration of the course, participate in all required activities, and complete related activities. Additionally, we ask you for feedback as we design future facilitated courses to meet the needs of professionals in the field.
