What Do You Need to Know Before Joining a Live Event?

We’re thrilled that you are interested in joining us for one of our events! In order to ensure that you’re able to fully participate, please read through the below list and reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions, comments, or accommodations requests.

Device Recommendations

If you are using a smart-phone, you may see only a portion of the presenters and access providers for the session, so we recommend using a tablet, laptop, or computer for the best viewing experience.

Event Recordings

Please note, some sessions may stream live on Facebook, but all events will be recorded. These recording will be available on the NDC website roughly one month from the time of the event.

Poll Questions

Some events will allow an opportunity for viewers to participate in quick poll questions that will pop up on your screen.

Interpreting & Captioning

We provide interpreters for Spoken English and American Sign Language users. To access CART captioning, click on the CC button at the bottom of your screen, or use the Streamtext link (also available in the chatbox at the event’s start). If you have additional accommodations requests, please send an email to our Help Team at [email protected] and indicate which event(s) you plan to attend.

Professional Development

Some events will earn participants Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Clock Hours, but you will need to check ahead of time to find out whether the specific event you plan to attend will offer these hours. If these hours are applicable, please record the event codes at the beginning and end. You must record both codes to redeem your CPE credit.


If you have a Question you would like to ask, you can use our Q&A option at the bottom of the screen. Type your question there. If you see a question posted by a colleague that also interests you, please click ‘UpVote/LIKE’ – that will help us prioritize questions of interests from you. We have built in some time to answer 1-2 questions after each question answered by the panelists. We cannot guarantee we will answer everyone’s question but we will try our best to do so.

Event FAQs

How do I join NDC's live events?

Each event posted on our events page will have a link to register. Click to go to that page, fill out your information, and a Zoom link will be emailed to you. That link will lead you straight to the event.

Can I record an event that I attend?

Sure! NDC also records our live events and we upload the videos to both our website and our YouTube account. In most cases, these videos are available roughly one month after the date of the event.

Are there registration limits to NDC's live events?

Not usually, no. For our webinars, registration is unlimited and we encourage you to share the event with others so that they can join as well! However, in some cases, there may be events in which registration is limited to a particular number of attendees. Please check the specific event’s information and registration pages, and feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any question.
