Graduate Research Assistant

Smiling person with long hair wearing a beige top and heart necklace.

Molly Headrick, M.A. (she/they) is a Research Assistant on the Research and Data team at NDC. They hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies, with a focus in Cultural Studies, from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.

Molly’s work is grounded in person-centered narratives, research, disability justice, advocacy, and deaf ways of being. Molly is Deaf and didn’t grow up in the Deaf community or with access to ASL. Finding both later in life reshaped how they see the world, and they’ve carried that lens of learning across every community they’ve worked with since.

Molly grew up in Southern California, where water has always felt like home, from swimming to the beach to anywhere near the ocean. She also loves to travel, meet new people, and learn about other cultures.
